#best job ever

best part of my day? I was sitting at my guided reading table this morning with four of my ESL students. One of them speaks very little English and this year has hardly ever spoken to me, he just looks up and smiles. Today we were working on the "-at" family and he read the sentence. "I am a fat cat." and "I have a silly hat" He thought it was hilarious and started giggling uncontrollably. Soon they were all laughing and I was crying with laughter. Nothing beats watching a kid learn to read and understand.
