Yearly Wrap Up. Highlights from 2012.

2012 was definitely a fun a life-changing year. Here are some of the highlights.

The year started off right with a Brad Paisley/The Band Perry/Scotty McCreery concert.
So much fun.
The company wasn't bad either. Thanks for all the fun Amy!

January included our class ski trip and my happiness over lack of snow in Utah.

February brought my first Valentine's Day as a teacher. Who needs a boyfriend when you have 26 kids to bring you flowers, candy, chocolate, cards. It was the greatest.

March was birthday month which meant hanging out with my cute roommates who I adore and eating delicious food.

April was a big month. GRADUATION! I finally finished my BYU education and got to walk across the stage and receive my diploma. Such an exciting day.
It also happened to be the day I was offered a 1st grade position at Amelia Earhart. I didn't know it at the time but accepting this offer would be one of the best decisions I've ever made.

Megan, Shanna and I. Never would have made it through my internship without both these ladies.

May brought the end of my first year of teaching. Here are some photos to honor that. I had a great group of kids that 1st year. They definitely taught me a lot about how to be a great teacher and how to manage kids in general.

My new best friend of 2012. Love her.

May also brought a very important life event from the freshman besties. ASHLEY AND DEREK GOT MARRIED! It was the last day of school and I was so happy for her. All the besties were finally reunited (minus Karissa, we missed her dearly). It was so much fun. I love those girls.

May also brought more birthdays. Included is the birthday of my cute roomie Katie.

June was a big month. It started off right with a trip to Hawaii with my momma! So much fun. There are no words.

We spent all our time laying on the beach, hiking, reading, tanning, eating delicious food, hanging out with Aunt Wendy AND....
the fulfillment of my ultimate lifelong dream.
 I swam with dolphins.

Summer (July and August) included playing with these cute puppies.

Celebrating my Mom and Dad's 20th Wedding Anniversary.
6/27/12

Shelby turned 15!
6/29/12

I went to see my beloved GIANTS. World Series Champs baby!

I spent time with my best friend. She's still the greatest. We're going on 10 years now!

And of course I spent my summer playing with my two favorite little girls.

Every friday was Fun Swim Friday!

I turned 22 on 7/11/12

I cheered both my siblings on in the Junior Olympics. My brother's team finished 2nd and Blake was named an All-American.
So proud of those cute goalies.
It was definitely worth all the heat.

Said goodbye to these cuties and headed back to Utah.

August: Started teaching 1st grade at Amelia Earhart. Look who teaches there too! Megan! Best day ever.

September: Went on a road trip to Boise, ID to go and see old roomie Jaclyn give her farewell. It was so fun and so sad to say goodbye. Love that girl. She will do great things in Guatemala.

October: Then two weeks later we went to Ceder Hills to see old roomie Katie give her farewell. I miss her dearly. Those Ukrainians are so lucky to have her.

Bestie got little Betsy.
Best day ever.

I was coerced into running in the fun run. Not so fun. But funny because I had about 8 little girls running after me.
It should also me noted that I met this lady. Who seriously changed my life. I'm better because of her and every day at work is infinitely more fun.

These cuties make me smile each and every day. I mean seriously. How could you not look at them and smile. I'm so lucky.
I love my job.
I finally got to be a princess for Halloween.
Snow White and the Evil Queen.

November: I got to see my best friend John Dana after about a year. It was so great to see him again.
 I love my job.
 December: Pajama Day/Read-a-thon
My best friend in the whole world had a birthday.
 Still love my job.
 So excited for Christmas break!

I have been so blessed this year. The biggest blessing in 2012 has been my move to 1st grade. I never thought that I could enjoy it. Ever. But here I am.
Happier than ever.

Can't wait for 2013.
I have a feeling it is going to be great.

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.

Let the Christmas adventures begin! It all started when Elfie followed me back to California.
Love that silly elf.

I left that cold field and traded it for Sunny, beautiful California.
Can you see how happy I am.

And then it turned super rainy. The weather has been super sporadic since I've been here.  But I still love Danville.

The Webbs indulged in a variety of favorite traditions. The first was eating at Nations and then enjoying Christmas lights.

Mom gave us our new ornaments and pjs.
Apparently this year was a chevron year for me.

I played Santa again, arranging all of the presents. Isn't it pretty?

Christmas was so fun this year. My family is so funny and we give the best presents.
I started Christmas with this gift from my dad....haha
Side note: cute sweatshirt inside.

Dad got mom a knife....watch out.

New year, new shellac.

I love playing with my little sister.
And eating out too.
 Family photos!
We froze.
BUT it was sunny!
So exited to see how they turned out!

Girl's lunch at Zachary's pizza.
Pizza, phase 10, diet coke. Perfect.

Love this little sis of mine.

I've been delegated as home made lemonade maker.
Best arm work out ever.
And the kitchen smells amazing.
Finally, my favorite part of church at home, playing with my cousin's cute kids. This is Lizzy. She things she's an elephant.
And loves to play with my hair and rings.
She's so fun.
Merry Christmas!
